There’s plenty happening at Nambour & Districts Netball Association, and we want our members, families and wider netball community to be part of what comes next.

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is coming up on Sunday 15 November, and everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a parent, an older athlete, a long-time volunteer or someone who’s keen to get more involved, this is your opportunity to find out what’s happening behind the scenes and help shape the future of N&DNA.

What’s next for Nambour Netball?

With plans for our new courts and exciting opportunities ahead, there’s plenty to look forward to. The AGM is a chance to hear about the association’s achievements, discuss future plans and understand how we can continue building a strong, welcoming netball community for years to come.

It’s also an opportunity to meet the people who help keep our association running and discover how you could play a part.

You don’t need committee experience to get involved

Community sport relies on people willing to pitch in, share their skills and help make things happen. You don’t have to be a netball expert or have hours of spare time to make a difference.

N&DNA has a range of committee and volunteer positions to suit different interests, skills and availability. From leadership and competition management to events, fundraising and behind-the-scenes support, there are plenty of ways to contribute.

Our committee structure includes three groups:

Executive Committee — leading the association

These roles help guide the direction of N&DNA, support volunteers and oversee the association’s operations.

  • President

  • Vice President

  • Secretary

  • Treasurer

Management Committee — keeping competitions running smoothly

These roles focus on the coordination of competitions, coaching, umpires, representative programs and registrations.

  • Coaching Convenor

  • Representative Convenor

  • Rep Coach Convenor

  • Umpire Convenor

  • Registrar

General Committee — supporting the people and activities that make it all happen

These roles help with the practical, operational and community-focused side of our association.

  • Games Control Official

  • Canteen Coordinator

  • Equipment & Maintenance

  • Grounds Coordinator

  • Volunteer Coordinator

  • Social Media & Promotions

  • Events Coordinator

  • Carnival Coordinator

  • Photographer

  • Sponsorship Coordinator

  • Fundraising Coordinator

  • Grants Coordinator

  • Gear Coordinator

  • First Aid Officer

  • NetSetGo Coordinator

  • Assistant Rep Coordinator

Whether you’re organised, creative, great with people or happy to lend a hand, your contribution can make a real difference.

Our AGM is about more than filling committee positions. It’s about bringing our community together, sharing ideas and making sure N&DNA continues to provide opportunities for players and families across our region.
